Permanent Cover Supervisor – Secondary School in Southampton

Location: Southampton
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2024 (earlier start available)

We are looking for a committed and reliable Permanent Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable role within a school environment, providing day-to-day cover and support to students.

The Role
As a Permanent Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Provide consistent cover for absent teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain focused.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and support students in their learning.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the school.
  • Build positive relationships with students and become a valued member of the school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
