Job description

Are you a recent graduate, experienced LSA, or unqualified teacher looking to take your first steps in education? Secondary schools in Basingstoke are seeking additional support staff to join them from November 2024 as Graduate Cover Supervisors. This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in the classroom while delivering pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and supervising students across the age and attainment range at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Delivering pre-prepared work to classes while maintaining classroom management and behaviour.
  • Supporting students' learning and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Position Details:

  • Start date: November 2024.
  • Full-time and part-time roles available depending on your availability.
  • Suitable for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs).
  • UK residents only.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
