This role is ideal for graduates from all degree backgrounds who are passionate about working with young people, eager to make a difference, and ready to gain practical experience in a school setting.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you’ll lead classrooms across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of regular teachers. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with students, helping to support their learning and development in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Creating a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere, managing student behaviour, and maintaining a supportive learning environment.
  • Encouraging student participation and facilitating understanding of lesson material.
  • Following school policies on behaviour and learning to maintain a respectful and organized classroom.

Position Details:

  • Start date: November 2024.
  • Full-time and part-time roles available based on your availability.
  • Suitable for graduates from any field of study, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) ready to expand their skills.
  • This position is open to UK residents only.

Why Apply?

  • Build Transferable Skills: From classroom management to public speaking, this role will help you develop skills that are valuable across a wide range of professions.
  • Gain Insight into Education: Get hands-on experience in a school environment, working closely with teachers and students.
  • Career Exploration: Many Cover Supervisors go on to pursue teaching, counseling, youth work, or other roles in education and community support.
  • Flexible Opportunities: Full-time and part-time positions mean you can gain experience on a schedule that works for you.

If you’re enthusiastic about education, interested in developing practical skills, and eager to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you. Join us in supporting the next generation while building a strong foundation for your own future. Apply today!
