Behavioural Support Assistant
Do you have experience working with challenging behaviour?
Do you have a background in SEN/care/Psychology/Coaching ?
Teaching personnel are recruiting for a behavioural support assistant to join a thriving primary school in Arnold - starting in September and has the potential to become a full time role
You would be offering support to a pupil in KS1 who shows challenging behaviour in the classroom- you would be required to offer support to the pupil on a 1:1 basis, you would run these sessions in order to support the pupil with their school work- these sessions will be designed to be engaging and thought provoking to the pupil- you will be required to monitor their progress and development and repert this back to the teacher on a daily basis.
This would be ideally suited to a candidate with a background in SEN/Care/coaching
Requirements for the role:
- Experience with SEN/challenging behaviour
-Experience working within a primary school environment (desired not essential)
- Safeguarding training
- Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Uk address and right to work
- Enhanced childs workforce dbs on the update service (we can help with this)
- Motivated and passionate about primary education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
