Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start
Position: Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
Location: Newport
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Salary: Starting at £12.90 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

- Adaptability: Each student is different, and being flexible with your approaches ensures that their unique needs are met.
- Patience: Students who may have emotional or learning difficulties require patience and understanding to help them progress.
- Positive Environment: Promoting and reinforcing good behaviour and a positive classroom atmosphere is crucial for student success.
- Behaviour Management: Experience with or knowledge of behaviour management techniques will help in maintaining a supportive and structured environment for the students.

Job Requirements:
- Enhanced Child-Only DBS Certificate (we can assist you with this)
- EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration
- Two professional references from the past 24 months
While prior experience working with children with special educational needs is beneficial, we encourage applications from individuals with personal experience or those eager to develop their skills in this field.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
