Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Secondary School Teachers to join a Newport secondary school. The ideal candidate will be committed to inspiring students, fostering a love for learning, and recognising each pupil’s unique strengths and potential.

Subjects Required:

• Drama
• Maths
• Science
• Humanities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum, monitor and assess student progress.
• Classroom Management: Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, contributing to a supportive and collaborative school community.
• Individualised Support: Identify students' unique needs and provide tailored support to maximise learning opportunities.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and skills.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Enhanced Child-Only DBS
• Registered with the Education Workforce Council
• Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
