Teaching Personnel Launches Specialist Tuition Service
Teaching Personnel has launched a new service called TP Tutors, providing high-impact, small-group tuition for schools, alternative provisions and local authorities.
Ever since our involvement in the Making Good Progress Pilot in 2007, Teaching Personnel has been closely involved in public sector tutoring. We have years of experience providing qualified teachers and tutors to boost attainment among underperforming pupils.
In the last few years, the National Tutoring Programme has set a precedent for personal tutoring to become an increasingly routine part of mainstream education. So far, almost 1.2 million tutoring courses have been started by pupils across England, many of these delivered by Teaching Personnel in our capacity as Official Tuition Partners.
The proven impact of this type of teaching on pupil attainment has motivated the Education Secretary to aim to make personal tutoring a ‘permanent’ element of school life, deployed whenever pupils need it.
Through its central role in delivering the NTP, Teaching Personnel has accrued a great deal of knowledge, experience and technological capability in the field of one-to-one and small group tutoring. The formation of a distinct TP Tutors service will allow our tuition management teams to focus exclusively on putting together integrated tuition programmes for schools and local authorities.
To find out more about the full-service tuition that TP Tutors could provide your school, trust or local authority, get in touch today.
