Job Title: Trainee Teacher

Job Duties:

  • Assist in planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of experienced teachers
  • Support students in their learning and development
  • Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour monitoring
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Basic IT skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Education:

Minimum of A-levels or equivalent

Experience:

No prior teaching experience required, but any relevant experience working with children or in educational settings is advantageous

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Passion for education and helping others learn
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn from experienced educators

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school environment, collaborating with teachers and students. Standard working hours apply, with occasional requirement for additional hours during school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
