We are seeking confident and adaptable individuals to step in as Cover Supervisors in a range of secondary schools across Stockport. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain classroom experience and support schools by covering lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the classroom, ensuring they stay on task with pre-set work.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students with their learning and provide assistance where needed.
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity in students’ learning.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young people, such as in a tutoring, coaching, or youth work capacity.
• Confidence in managing a classroom and maintaining student engagement.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to different school settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
