This full-time role begins on Monday, 3rd March 2025 and offers structured training, practical classroom experience, and dedicated support to help you succeed.
Details:
- £13.75 hourly pay / £89.38 daily pay
- 08:30 – 15:30 hours
- Term time only
- Working with pupils ages 11- 16 in secondary schools across in Newport and Cwmbran
This role will include:
- Completion of four online training modules designed to equip you with essential skills for working in a secondary school.
- Ongoing guidance and support from a personal consultant, ensuring you have the tools and confidence to thrive.
- Full-time employment during school hours (08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday).
- A paid trial week in a secondary school, with feedback to support your development.

Essential Requirements:
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check registered with the update service.
- Be available to work full-time (08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday).
- Provide references from two professional settings to verify your experience.
- EWC registration – Teaching Personnel will assist with this

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
