Salary: £85 - £100 per day, based on experience

About the Role
We’re looking for dynamic, compassionate Teaching and Learning Support Assistants to work in secondary schools across North Liverpool. This is a rewarding role where you’ll provide essential support to students of all abilities, including those with additional needs, helping them thrive both academically and personally. Each day brings fresh challenges and exciting opportunities to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • One-on-One and Group Support: Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, helping them overcome learning barriers.
  • Assist Classroom Activities: Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and keep students on track with their learning objectives.
  • Encourage and Empower: Motivate students to build confidence, develop independence, and take pride in their achievements.
  • Adapt and Engage: Help with classroom management, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of each student.
  • Monitor Progress: Work with teaching staff to track and report on student progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting (not essential but desirable).
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students’ well-being and academic growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude toward adapting to new challenges.
  • Patience and empathy in working with students of all abilities, including those with additional needs or requiring extra support.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
