Graduate Teaching Assistant – Specialist Provision (Sutton Coldfield)
Location: Birmingham, UK
Salary: £420 - £445 per week
Contract Type: Full-Time (Immediate Start)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you a recent graduate passionate about education and eager to start your career in a supportive and nurturing school environment? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our team in Sutton Coldfield. You will be working within a specialist provision, supporting children and young adults with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring student safety at all times
  • Supporting students with additional needs in and out of the classroom
  • Providing one-on-one assistance
  • Creating a positive, engaging learning environment

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for resilient, driven, and caring individuals who work well in teams. While previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is beneficial, it’s not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications:

Graduates from a range of disciplines are encouraged to apply, including:

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree in a related field
  • Willingness to apply for an Enhanced Child DBS (or already have one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
