We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to begin work on a full time basis in a fantastic primary school located in the southern region of Peterborough.
The role itself is full time, 5 days a week, supporting a mixed class of year 5 & 6 pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as within small focus groups. You will be expected to monitor and assess the progress of pupils and assist in their progression through learning. You will also need to offer general support and aid in the overall running of the class alongside the class teacher.
The role is set to begin from after the Easter Break and will last throughout the academic year, but has every opportunity of being extended further.
If you have:
- Prior Teaching Assistant Experience
- Completed training courses relevant to working with children in education such as: Prevent Training, Safeguarding, Child Protection
- NVQ Level 3 – Relevant to working within schools
- Experience offering 1:1 support to SEN pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
