We are looking for an inspiring SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our SEN partner schools in Peterborough to support pupils with special and or complex needs.
The ideal SEN Teaching assistant for this role will recognise the importance of basic life skills and emit the enthusiasm and positivity to develop these skills in students of all levels. You must be able to help keep pupils engaged and on track with the Teacher’s objective’s during each lesson. A successful SEN Teaching Assistant at will have strong behavioural management skills and previous experience with children with special needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you must:
- Have experience supporting children EYFS - KS2
- Be resilient when providing support in challenging environments
- Have the ability to engage pupils in their learning
- Be able to work with the school to ensure pupil progression
- Be able to drive
About the SEN Teaching Assistant role:
- Part time/Full time
- Temp to perm contract
