Secondary Maths Tutor – Alnwick, Northumberland
£25–£30 per hour | 2 hours per week | Flexible daytime sessions
Are you a compassionate and experienced educator looking to make a positive impact on a young person’s life? TP Tutors is seeking a dedicated Secondary Maths Tutor to support a pupil in Alnwick who is currently not accessing mainstream education.
This is a 1:1 tutoring role, delivering 2 hours of tuition per week during school hours – with flexibility to fit around your availability.
➗ Your Role:

Provide high-quality, personalised Maths tuition to a secondary-age learner

Assess the pupil’s current attainment and identify learning gaps
-
Plan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to the pupil’s needs and interests

Prepare and adapt resources to suit the individual learning style
-
Build a positive, supportive relationship to help the pupil re-engage with learning

Qualified teachers with strong subject knowledge in Maths

Experience working with pupils outside mainstream settings is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
