Teaching Assistant – Full-Time in Chorlton-cum-Hardy

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Chorlton-cum-Hardy. This is a full-time position, starting in October and continuing until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of the role being made permanent based on performance.

Role Overview:

  • Provide classroom support to teachers, helping to ensure that lessons run smoothly and students remain focused and engaged.
  • Work with individual students or small groups, offering tailored support to help them grasp key concepts and stay on track with their studies.
  • Support students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN), helping to differentiate materials and adapt lessons where necessary.
  • Assist with behaviour management, fostering a positive learning environment and ensuring all students can thrive academically and socially.
  • Help with the preparation of classroom materials, lesson plans, and resources, allowing teachers to deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Provide feedback to teachers about student progress, helping to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support students with their personal development, acting as a mentor and role model, and encouraging them to achieve their full potential.

Key Details:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
