Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside our client secondary school in Bury to recruit a passionate full-time Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible. 

  • ASAP start
  • Full-time position, Monday - Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
  • Earn between £1670 - £1800 per month, dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Paid weekly, every Friday via PAYE.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on experience supporting students in secondary education. This role would be well-suited to a vibrant graduate interested in a career in education or an experienced teaching assistant looking for a new role within a supportive secondary school.

Role responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SENCO and other support staff to design and implement individualised support strategies to target key areas of learning.
  • Monitor student progress and identify the need for additional support.
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Dyslexia and behavioural disorders.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Build rapport and positive working relationships with students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
