Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is highly motivated and has a passion for education to join TP and start work in September. We need someone situated within travel distance of Bodmin and to be ready to start work at 08:30. Previous experience is preferred but relevant experience within alternative industries will be considered. Previous practice of Behavioural Management is desirable as this will be included within your role, but training will be provided. Safeguarding and Prevent training are offered free of charge and other CPD Training is accessible during your journey with us at a discounted rate

You will be required to work alongside both the teachers and students to teach a variety of subjects during the school day. You will assist them on their classroom tasks and offer extra support when and if needed. You may be required to work both inside and outside of the classroom and partake in a multitude of tasks that encourage social and educational development. To be successful, you should have a good understanding of the National Curriculum, and have exiting ideas that will be engaging to children in these lessons.
