Job Title: After School Club Assistant

Job Duties:
- Supporting children and head staff in the after school club at an oustanding primary school in Balham
- Tidying and preparing after school club activities
- Supporting the children's welfare and safety
- Helping to provide snacks for the children if needed
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
OR
Can do, positive attitude for working with primary children
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of educational principles and practises
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good organisational skills
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school environment, following the school calendar and daily schedule. The Teaching Assistant may need to provide support during extracurricular activities or school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
