Role Overview:
As a Supply and Cover Teaching Assistant with Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to work in various classrooms and support students with a range of needs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education and care, filling in for permanent staff during absences and providing additional support where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs, helping them to engage with their learning.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials to meet diverse needs.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment, fostering student development and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to deliver high-quality education and support.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings, maintaining a flexible and proactive approach to teaching and learning.

About You:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and reliable, with a willingness to work in different schools and settings.
  • A caring and patient approach, with a passion for supporting the educational journey of young people.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child care are advantageous but not essential.
