Teacher of Technology – North West Nottinghamshire
Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a secondary Academy based in North West Nottinghamshire who are looking to recruit a Teacher of Technology to start September 2021.
The Academy offer a supportive environment in which your talents will be nurtured and rewarded, and are very proud of their students and staff, so this is an exciting opportunity to join their friendly and inspirational Academy.
You will be required to plan, deliver, and mark the work of the students so experience with this is essential. Experienced teachers as well as NQT's are more than welcome to apply.
You will have the benefit of your own classroom which is fitted with interactive multimedia equipment to aid teaching and learning and the provision of the latest ICT equipment.
The role:
- Teach Technology across the ability and age range, KS3, KS4, KS5. Including the development of post 16
- Teach GCSE Design Technology, WJEC Construction and A-Level Product design
- Deliver high quality lessons
- Share teaching materials / resources with colleagues
- Long-term full-time role which includes departmental meetings, parents evenings etc
All candidates MUST have:
- A teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE)
- The right to work within the UK
- The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
- Must have, or be willing to obtain a Child Workforce only DBS, which is on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
