SEN Teacher – KS2 Provision (Mainstream Primary School)
Blackpool (FY3)
Full Time | Starting May 2025
Long-term opportunity

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a supportive mainstream primary school in the FY3 area of Blackpool, who are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team from May 2025.

This is a full-time position teaching a small group of 7 Key Stage 2 pupils, all with varying special educational needs, within a dedicated provision based in the school. The school is well-resourced and offers a nurturing, inclusive environment with a strong focus on personalised learning.

The Role:

  • Teaching a small, mixed-ability class of KS2 pupils with identified SEN

  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons to support academic, social, and emotional development

  • Working closely with support staff and external agencies to meet individual needs

  • Managing EHCP targets and contributing to reviews and progress reports

  • Creating a safe, stimulating and structured classroom environment

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN or inclusive teaching

  • Strong understanding of a range of additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language, SEMH)

  • Patient, creative and confident in using differentiated approaches

  • Skilled in behaviour management and de-escalation strategies

  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
