EYFS Teacher – Maternity Cover
Location: Blackpool (FY4)
Start Date: After May Half Term (3rd June 2025)
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (1 Year)
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Blackpool (FY4), covering a maternity leave from June 2025 for one academic year. There is potential for a permanent position within the school following the placement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a nurturing and supportive school community that places the development of each child at the heart of everything they do.

The Role:

  • Full-time class teacher in a Reception class, responsible for planning, delivering and assessing EYFS curriculum

  • Working collaboratively with the EYFS team to provide a rich and engaging learning environment

  • Promoting positive learning behaviours and ensuring all children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn

  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS with experience teaching in EYFS

  • Have a sound understanding of the Early Years Framework and child development

  • Be creative, nurturing, and able to adapt to the needs of all learners

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and team-working skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
