Supply Teachers – Bury Area

Are you a passionate and flexible teacher looking for exciting new opportunities? We are currently seeking to recruit multiple Supply Teachers to join our dedicated team of educators working in local primary schools across the Bury area. Whether you are an experienced teacher or a newly qualified professional, we would love to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will step into various schools across Bury to provide high-quality teaching and learning. You’ll have the chance to work in a range of subject areas and age groups, helping students to meet their academic goals and full potential. This is an excellent opportunity to gain diverse teaching experience in a variety of school settings. At Teaching Personnel we offer competitive daily rates (£120-£160) and the full-time working hours are typically Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm. We offer a range of flexible working options: day-to-day, short-term and long-term roles available to cater to your wants and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Support students’ individual learning needs and provide them with encouragement.
  • Maintain records of student progress and report back to school leaders and parents.
  • Follow the school’s policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth and productive day for the students.

About You:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), or an ECT (Early Career Teacher) looking to gain experience.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different environments.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with students and staff.
