Seeking a Better Work-Life Balance? Supply Teaching Could Be the Perfect Fit!

Are you a qualified teacher looking to regain control over your time, reduce stress, and rediscover the joy of teaching? If so, beginning a career as a Supply Teacher with Teaching Personnel might be exactly what you're looking for.

We are currently seeking flexible, passionate, and reliable primary teachers to join our team, providing day-to-day and short-term cover in schools across Oldham in the Summer Term. Whether you're newly qualified, returning to the profession, or an experienced educator looking for more balance, supply teaching offers the flexibility and variety many teachers crave.

About the Role:

As a supply teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a range of local primary schools, supporting students across different year groups. Typical assignments include:

  • Sickness cover
  • PPA cover
  • Maternity leave
  • Short-term planned absences

These roles give you the opportunity to focus on teaching without the additional responsibilities of planning, assessment, or long-term commitments — allowing you to enjoy the classroom and focus on what you do best: inspiring and educating young minds.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent teaching experience within UK primary schools
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A flexible, proactive, and adaptable attitude

Whether you’re available one day a week or five, we have opportunities that can work around your schedule.

Why Work With Teaching Personnel?

  • Flexibility – Choose when, where, and how often you work
  • Weekly Pay – Competitive and negotiable based on your experience and availability
  • CPD Academy – Access to a wide range of training and professional development

Ready to Join Us?

If you’re a passionate and professional teacher who’s ready to embrace a more flexible way of working, we’d love to hear from you!

Don’t delay — apply now by submitting your CV, and one of our friendly consultants will be in touch to guide you through the next steps.

Take the next step in your teaching journey – with Teaching Personnel, the choice is yours!
