Job description

***CALLING ALL EXPERIENCED TEACHERS***

Are you a highly skilled Primary School teacher seeking a positive work/life balance?

Do you have at least 2 years proven track record working as a Primary School Teacher?

Would you describe yourself to be determined, flexible and adaptable?

Look no further!

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a range of sized Primary Schools across Lancashire (Preston, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn with Darwen, Ormskirk and Chorley) to recruit experienced Primary School Teachers. The aim of the schools is to build a base of reliable and familiar teachers that can fulfil regular, short-term teaching work to cover a variety of absences, including training, sickness, residential trips, additional support, jury service and much more.

The schools have specified that they are seeking Teachers who are happy to bring their own work, on occasion, or can work from pre-planned work at short notice, however, the schools will endeavour to give as much notice as possible and pre-book staff. This will require the members of staff to adapt their skill set to teach any year group within the Primary Key Stages (from Nursery to Year 6).

If the above sounds of interest and you deem yourself suitable for work of this nature, please do not hesitate to apply with your most recent CV. A cover letter will also be received with gratitude, however, this is not essential.

The registration process will consist of a phone call with your consultant, to discuss the relevant experience you have. Then a face-to-face interview and document sighting. The offer of a role is conditional, providing the approval of two graded references and right to work documentation.

We look forward to hearing from you!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
