Job Duties:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse student populations
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student development
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Previous experience as a teacher or teaching assistant
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and educational policies
- Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate certificate in Education
- Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in various schools on a temporary basis, following the school hours and calendar. The candidate must be flexible and able to adapt to different classroom environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
