About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dynamic and dedicated supply teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in the Didsbury, Withington, Moss Side, Hulme, Chorlton, and Gorton areas. As a supply teacher, you will be stepping into various classrooms to support schools on a flexible, ad-hoc basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse environments, covering short-term absences or longer-term assignments. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching across various subjects and year groups
• Follow lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on track
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Provide constructive feedback to students
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the individual needs of students
• Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in secondary schools (preferred but not essential)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
• A passion for teaching and supporting student learning
• An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (or willingness to obtain one)
