Teaching Personnel, Cornwall are currently looking for a number of supply Teachers to work on a part time and full time basis. We closely work with Primary, Secondary and SEN schools across the whole of Cornwall and are able to find you work both locally and relating to your specialism.
Supply teacher Role:
- This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking to reduce their hours, Newly Qualified Teachers looking to gain more experience or retired teachers looking for flexible part-time work.
- We are looking to introduce a new cohort of supply teachers to our client schools following the reopening of schools in the UK (COVID-19 closures), Teaching Personnel are able to offer up to 5 days per week, working in schools located across the Cornwall area.
- Duties of the role will include covering in the short term absence of teachers over a variety of subjects and year groups. Planning and marking is not required for this role as all work will be set. Strong classroom management, flexibility and the ability to be proactive is essential for this role.
- For Newly Qualified Teachers, this role is ideal for gaining experience in a variety of vibrant, successful Primary schools.
The Successful Applicant:
- Must be a qualified teacher (QTS or Equivalent)
- Driving License and car is a benefit but not essential
- A DBS on the update service is essential or willing to apply for one
