Job description

Are you a qualified teacher looking to take a step into flexible teaching work?

Teaching Personnel are offering a fantastic opportunity for long-term and short-term supply teaching placements at secondary schools located in and around Bolton, Greater Manchester. Our client schools require dedicated classroom practitioners to relieve periods of staff shortages and absence to minimise disruption to learning.

In this role, you will deliver pre-planned lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 and ensure that students remain focused and on task. You will be confident in using effective classroom management and behaviour control strategies to maintain a productive learning environment. We are able to offer subject specialist roles to suit your expertise and experience.

Teacher Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Ability to build rapport and positive working relationships with students.
  • Ability to teach across various subjects and age groups.
  • Good behaviour management skills.

Key Highlights:

  • Earn Between £120 - £140 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Paid weekly, every Friday via PAYE.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
