Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students across different age groups and abilities
• Follow the school's curriculum and ensure learning objectives are met
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with other teaching staff and school administration

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Prior experience in teaching or working with children

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of educational best practises
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in specific subject areas
• Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a school setting, following school hours and term dates. Some flexibility in schedule may be required to cover for absent teachers or participate in school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
