SEND Teaching Assistant – ASC Specialism
Full time and Part time
Teaching personnel, Cornwall are currently recruiting for specialist SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a number of part tiem and full tine positions in schools based in Penzance, Camborne, Redruth and Truro. These schools are looking for additional support to work 1:1, 2:1 and in small groups with pupils from EYFS – secondary. For some of these roles public transport is easily accessible and regular, however some of these roles require a full driving licence and access to a car.
We would be interested to hear from committed, passionate and dynamic individuals who want to help ensure that all pupils reach their full potential in school.
With the current situation of COVID19 pupils will need more support and reassurance on returning to education from now, therefore we are looking for teaching assistants who are calming, supportive and show empathy towards these students.
It is essential that you have relevant, recent experience in a support role in a relevant setting. Previous experience with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) children is also desired but similar experience with vulnerable adults.
