SEN Teaching Assistant

Role Details:
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: WN5 area
- Pay: £83.85 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
- Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent opportunities
- Start Date: Immediate

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional learning needs
- Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
- Help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and the SENCO to track and support student progress
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with SEN students (preferred but not essential)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact on young lives
- Willingness to undertake further training and development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
