SEN Teaching Assistant

Role Details:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: WN5 area
• Pay: £83.85 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
• Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent opportunities
• Start Date: Immediate

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with additional learning needs
• Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
• Help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and the SENCO to track and support student progress

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with SEN students (preferred but not essential)
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine desire to make a positive impact on young lives
• Willingness to undertake further training and development opportunities
