Psychology Graduate – Primary & Secondary Schools (Wigan)
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people while building your career?
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Psychology Graduates to work in primary and secondary schools across Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in a school setting, supporting students with additional needs, mental health challenges, and behaviour management.
Role Overview:
- Provide classroom support to students with special educational needs (SEN) and behavioural needs.
- Assist in implementing intervention strategies to support mental well-being.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to create a positive learning environment.
- Gain hands-on experience in child development, education psychology, and behaviour management.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Psychology (or a related subject).
- A passion for working with children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in schools or with young people (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
