SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Do you have experience working with pupils with SEN?
- Do you have experience supporting pupils with SEMH?
Here at Teaching Personnel, we are very happy to announce that there is a full time role available for an SEN teaching assistant at a excellent primary school in Lowestoft. This role would involve supporting a child with SEMH on a 1:1 basis. The pupil in question is in KS2 and would require support throughout the school day, this would involve but may not be limited to- Behavioural guidance , assistance building strong relationships with his teacher/co-pupils and extra work support.
The role would also include:
- Supporting the pupil throughout the school day
- Upholding the values of the school at all times
- Aiding with the set up and set down of the classroom
- Maintaining high levels of health and safety over the pupils
- Aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the class
The ideal candidate would have:
- Experience working in a Teaching Assistant role
- Experience working with SEN pupils
- Safeguarding training
- Teaching assistant qualifications
- A hard working and positive attitude to all aspects of work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
