Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in London.

Pay Rate: £85 - £95 per day
Job Type: Full-Time

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant is essential.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Passion for SEN: A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability to meet the varying needs of students across different settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
  • Help students with personal care, mobility, and other physical needs as required.
  • Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
  • Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
