SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Exeter
Start Date: 4th November
Closing Date: 1st November
Salary: £90 - £95 per day

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Exeter. This is an exciting opportunity to support children with Special Educational Needs in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse needs.
  • Assist in implementing tailored learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress.
  • Promote social, emotional, and academic development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
