SEN Learning Coach Required - Exeter

Location: Exeter, Devon
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £450 - £475 per week, based on experience
Start Date: Immediate

Our Partner School, rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted, seeks a dedicated SEN Learning Coach to join our team. You will work closely with 11-17 year olds on EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans) in collaboration with Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency. This role offers a supportive environment where you can significantly impact young learners' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to students with special educational needs, focusing on their individual EHCPs.
  • Assist in implementing tailored learning plans and strategies under the guidance of qualified teaching staff.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that enhances engagement and progression.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, external agencies, and parents to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with young people with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with EHCPs and proficiency in implementing strategies to meet their goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to build rapport with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to work, capable of responding to diverse needs and challenges.
