Job description

A beautiful school in Crawley is looking for several members of staff for their reception. 

This full time role. You will be responsible for the daily care and development of children.

The role is working 1:1 with children with SEN children within the reception class. The school is highly supportive and they encourage children to develop their skills and independence through play-based learning. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and caring teaching assistant.

You will play a central role in the children’s development and welfare and be a key role in supporting the Nursery Lead.

  • Experience of SEN needs.
  • Child only enhanced DBS on the update service
  • The ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning
  • Able to provide stimulating and engaging experiences for our children and support them in becoming lifelong learners 
  • An excellent role model to children, colleagues and parents, exemplifying our core principle of kindness
  • A positive, open-minded professional actively supportive of the ethos, vision and values of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
