Job description

A friendly and dedicated primary school located in Chichester are seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant.

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Chichester
Contract: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate

As an Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children to the best of their availability 
  • Acting as a role model and promote positive behaviour
  • Assist with the planning of learning activities
  • Provide detailed feedback to teachers on pupil achievement and progress
  • Assist with the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • SEN experience 
  • Enthusiasm for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and, most importantly, little learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
