SEN Teaching Assistant

One of our partnership SEN schools in Cheadle are looking for dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team for the new academic year!

In this role, you will support young people with complex needs such as Autism, physical disabilities, visual and hearing impairments and cases of challenging behavior in and around the classroom to help achieve their learning goals.

You will also support children to develop their independence skills and raise their confidence.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting. Or If you have any personal experiences supporting with SEN (Desirable, not essential)
• Confidence and willingness to learn
• The ability to be a proactive and effective member of a team
• A kind, caring and empathetic naturing
• A genuine passion for working with children with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
