SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunities in the Bolton and Bury area!

If an opportunity to support children, aged from 4 years old – 11 years old, within a Primary School interests you, then an SEN Teaching Assistant job (SEN TA job) could be the perfect opportunity to pursue.

A role of a SEN Teaching assistant is to support children with their learning activities and to support the class teacher with preparation of class work and maintain an inviting learning environment. As a Teaching Assistant, your role may require you to work with children with special educational needs (SEN) or with physical disabilities. No Teaching Assistant position is the same and not everyday is the same!

No formal qualification’s are necessarily required to embark on the path to become an SEN teaching assistant, but a patient and supportive nature is key. At Teaching Personnel, we are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants who are keen to pursue a career within education. We have various roles open whether it be part time work, full time positions or day to day supply cover for those that need a little more flexibility or want to gain further experience working with children. Previous experience working with children (such as tutoring, sports coaching, childcare and youth work) is desired!

These roles have veried start dates (January 2025 onwards) and will be available on a full-time and part-time basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
