One of our partnership primary schools in Stockport are looking for proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their team!
In this role you will:
- Provide support on a 1:1 and small group basis to children under guidance of the class teacher
- Provide 1:1 support to children with special educational needs
- To provide support to the class teacher and help to assess children’s learning
- Help to produce a safe and engaging learning environment for children
- Offer praise and encouragement to children
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience
- A kind and caring personality
- The ability to be proactive and show initiative in the classroom
- Full time availability during school hours

As part of safer recruitment guidelines, all candidates will be subject to standard vetting checks. Including:
- An enhanced DBS- on the update service. This can be applied through Teaching Personnel
- Two previous employment references covering the last two years
- An overseas police check (if you have been outside the UK for 6 months or more in the last 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
