SEN Teacher
Job description
Are you an experienced tutor with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide personalised learning support to students with a range of additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential.
About the Role:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 or small group tuition to students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities.
- Support students in developing confidence, independence, and academic skills.
- Work closely with parents, schools, and other professionals to create effective learning plans.
- Flexible working hours to fit your availability.
Requirements:
- Experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, PTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
