Job description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one and small-group support for learners across Nottinghamshire.

About the Role:

As an SEN Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver personalised tuition to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
  • Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles, ensuring all students can engage and progress.
  • Provide a nurturing and structured environment to help build confidence and independence.
  • Work closely with schools, parents, and other professionals to create effective learning plans.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experienced Educator – Previous experience working with SEN students in a tutoring or teaching role.
  • Adaptable & Patient – The ability to tailor learning approaches to suit diverse needs.
  • Passionate About Inclusion – A strong commitment to supporting every learner’s development.
  • Excellent Communicator – Able to collaborate with students, families, and support teams effectively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
