Teaching Personnel are working with a ‘Good ‘ rated SEN school in Edmonton who seek  a full time, experienced , conscientious teaching assistant for a Year 4 class working 1:1 with a pupil  who has  a SEN statement of ADHD and behavioural difficulties. The successful candidate will be firm, interactive and confident to deliver the pupils education on a 1:1 basis taking into consideration pupil’s special educational needs.  As this role will be working in small KS2 class of 8 pupils flexibility is key as some group support will be required in group activities the pupil will participate in. You must have previous experience working with challenging pupils and good behaviour management. This post is for an immediate start and will span until end of academic year 2022 with the opportunity for a permanent contract in the summer.

Year 4 1:1 behaviour teaching assistant:

• Previous experience working with challenging pupils with behavioural difficulties –minimum 6 months
• Able to deliver 1:1 support tailored to pupils behavioural  needs
• Team teach training will be an advantage
• Full time Monday to Friday term time only – 8.30am -3.30pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
