Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of their partnership schools across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster and Chesterfield. We work exclusively with a number of Trusts and Academies, who are frequently looking for permanent or temporary staff members.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant, who is happy to support across a Secondary setting. You may be supporting the class teacher with classroom management, be supporting an individual on a 121 basis or taking small focus groups for interventions. Experience working in a Secondary setting would be beneficial, but not essential. The successful applicant may be expected to support individuals with SEN, so some experience in this area would be ideal.

Roles and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Starting September 2021
• Supporting KS3 - KS5
• Supporting in various subjects 
• Working to support the class teacher, working 121 or taking small focus groups 
• Working with children with SEN, some with behavioural issues 
• Strong behaviour management skills, a calm and patient manner with positive reinforcement of expectations 
• May be expected to support through lunch times 

All candidates MUST:

• Have experience working with children 
• Have the right to work within the UK
• Have the ability to provide school based references (within the last 6 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
