Job Description:

We are currently seeking Secondary Teachers to join our team in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in the secondary level.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
  • Additional subject-specific qualifications

Working Conditions:

  • Contract position with Full-Time hours
  • Schedule may include some evenings and weekends for meetings and events
  • Dynamic and fast-paced educational environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
