Science Teacher required for a secondary school in Waterlooville

The Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering well-planned, engaging lessons that foster students’ understanding of key scientific concepts
- Develop lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities, ensuring all students are able to make progress and achieve their potential
- Use a variety of teaching methods to inspire and motivate students, helping them to see the relevance of Science in everyday life
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure they achieve their best
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Science Department to ensure that lessons are engaging and meet the school’s high standards
- Contribute to the school’s positive learning environment, encouraging respect, responsibility, and a love of learning in all students
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels, with a passion for the subject and a desire to inspire students
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Is committed to fostering the academic and personal growth of students, ensuring they feel supported and motivated to succeed
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative teaching team and contributing to the school’s culture of high expectations and respect
