Science Teacher – Secondary School in Poole

Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted-graded ‘Outstanding’ High School in Poole to recruit a Science Teacher for a permanent position. Key Details:

  • Location: Poole
  • Start Date: Easter or February half term (dependent on candidate availability)
  • Salary: MPS/UPS

The Role:

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 for the right candidate
  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical-based lessons that inspire a love for Science
  • Supporting students to achieve excellent academic results in GCSE and A-Level Science
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop schemes of work and resources

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
  • Be enthusiastic, dynamic, and committed to raising attainment in Science
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills
  • Be open to professional development and contributing to the wider school community
